Our in-person enrollment assistance is happening today and tomorrow from 10:00am to 7:00pm for our families who have questions or need help completing the enrollment process. You can drop off physicals, pay fees and more! Stop by, and our staff will be happy to assist you.

USD 315 Board of Education will be having special board meetings to conduct superintendent interviews on the following dates:

Tuesday-December 9th
Wednesday- December 10th
Thursday- December 11th

These interviews will be held in executive session with the board on these dates at 6:30pm in the boardroom at the Administration Building.

Candidates were selected by the board for interviews based on their fit with desired characteristics that were developed with input from focus groups and an online community survey utilized during the search process. On each day of the interviews the candidates name and short bio will be released for public information.

Our district has partnered with KASB to assist in the search for a superintendent starting the next school year. As part of this process, KASB has created a survey to gather input on the characteristics and qualities you believe are most important in our next superintendent. This survey is similar to our Dennen Field Project survey, however there will not be thoughts to rate. Your responses are completely anonymous, and the survey can be taken more than once.

Colby Grade School will be having Chicken Nuggets as their main dish.
Colby Middle school will have OPAA classic - Chicken Nuggets or OPAA to Go - Grilled ham and Cheese.
The High School will have OPAA Classic - Nardone Pizza or OPAA to Go - Cheese Burger.

Our Road to Kindergarten journey began this week with our parent meeting! 🧡 We are now headed for stop #3 which is attending our Kindergarten Readiness Event on April 4th! You have to attend this event to attend Kindergarten Visitation. If you have any questions, please contact the grade school at 785-460-5100!

Dear Parents and Families, Due to the extremely high winds today, we are making adjustments to our after-school pick-up procedures for the safety of our students. Kindergarten through 2nd Grade will have INSIDE pick-up today. Here's how it will work: Kindergarten: Kindergarten teachers will release students to parents waiting at the main Kindergarten door. Please walk up to the door or ensure your vehicle is easily recognizable if you are waiting in your car. 1st Grade: First-grade teachers will release students at the usual double doors by the playground. Please wait by the doors, walk up to the doors, or wave towards the building from a recognizable vehicle. 2nd Grade: Second-grade teachers will release students by the ramp. Please wait by the ramp, walk up to the ramp, or ensure your vehicle is easily recognizable. We appreciate your cooperation in making this a smooth and safe dismissal for all our students. Please be patient and drive carefully. Thank you for your understanding.
