Middle School Art Class Donates Project

Around 30 middle school students (plus a few paras and teachers) knitted a crazy quilt blanket this last spring as a part of a folk art project in art class. Each participating student knitted one 8 " square that was then put together in a blanket. This blanket was then given to a family who could really use it in our community. Amy Huftles, our school nurse, delivered the blanket to this family for us.
Last year a number of you donated yarn for this project. Thank you very much!!
This coming year, we would like to reach out to the community once again, but we could use some more yarn and any knitting needles that you might be willing to donate.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the MS office or the MS art room.
Thanks again!
