CMS/2nd Grade Musical Instrument Experience

After studying about the instrument families in music, Mrs. Koel's 2nd graders were treated to visitors from the Colby Middle School band. Brass, woodwind and string players demonstrated their instruments for the students on three separate days. For percussion day, the students went to visit the CMS band room, Ms. Williams and the 7th grade percussionist. The second grade students and CMS "experts," were super excited to see each other. The 2nd graders even got to sit in and watch the WHOLE band perform one of their songs.
