Picking Up and Dropping Off During Inclement Weather

To CGS parents and guardians:
I’d like to thank all the parents and guardians for your
cooperation during drop off and pick-up times.
During inclement weather we will implement the following plan:
In the morning for drop-off, we will follow the same plan at the same drop-off zones as usual. For afternoon pick up, we will have both the 1st and 2nd grades wait in the hallway in front of the southwest double doors of the Primary building that lead to the playground. First grade parents will enter into the pickup zone as usual. Second grade will continue to enter as usual into the second grade pick up zone from Garfield Ave. A monitor will be present at the exit of the second grade zone to direct parents across Grant Ave. into the 1st grade pickup zone to wait in line for their student(s). We will have monitors present with radios to call for students as their parents approach. Please do not pull out around vehicles that are in front of you unless a monitor has instructed you to do so.
