Topeka Trip!!

The 7th Grade Ladies traveled west to Topeka. We met up with students from Emporia, Kansas for a day of touring fun. We began by touring the recently renovated Capitol Building, Combat Air Museum, Kansas History Museum and ending with the nights entertainment of The Nutcracker. Everyone enjoyed climbing the 290 stairs to the top of the Capitol Building was the most exciting.
Some of us didn't quite make it to the top, right Mrs. Morgan? We enjoyed the company of Turning Point Learning Center as we had only met online and finally got the chance to meet face to face. We can't wait for our next trip to KC in April. Science City, the Jazz Museum, Art Gallery and Union Station sound very interesting.
